Rosa Moraes currently serves as the Standards and Compliance Officer for CentroNía. Rosa is responsible for establishing and implementing an effective compliance program to prevent, develop, monitor, review, and report anything pertaining to health and safety of children at CentroNía. She also oversees external regulatory requirements to match CentroNía’s policies and procedures for compliance with licensing and accreditation. Her role is vital in proactively identifying potential areas of health and safety compliance vulnerability and risk. Rosa has over 25 years of experience serving children, families, the community, as well as other educators in the area of instructional coaching, curriculum integration, special education, and professional development. She also collaborated with local agencies to develop transform and shape high-quality early childhood education programs in the District of Columbia.
Rosa holds a Master’s Degree of Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Catholic University of America, Washington DC, and a Bachelor’s of Human Development from Trinity University, Washington DC. She lives in the District of Columbia.
