Juan M. Vega oversees the performance measurement efforts of CentroNía through the data collection, analysis, and reporting of early childhood education and teachers’ professional development outcomes. He works with program directors and teachers to assess program outcomes in a continuous quality improvement approach, and disseminates results to external stakeholders such as funders and research partners. He is an active member of the community of practice, of the Measure4Change initiative, of the Urban Institute, and World Bank Group and parts of its Advisory Council.
Prior to joining CentroNía, Juan worked as a research assistant at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He holds a Master’s degree in economic policy analysis and a bachelor’s degree in economics with a concentration in statistics. He is originally from Colombia, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
