As we continue to celebrate Teacher’s Appreciation Week, meet Ms. Fidelina, one of CentroNía’s outstanding Early Childhood Education Teachers.
Ms. Fidelina joined the CentroNía family in 2005 to teach infants and toddlers. “Teaching is learning everyday” she says. “Each child teaches you something about them and something about you. Not only do they make you a better person everyday but they also fill your life with laughter and happiness”.
As a mother of four, Ms. Fidelina already had some experience working with small babies, nonetheless she knows that every child’s needs are different and their needs might change over time. Thus it’s extremely important for teachers to receive constant professional development. Ms. Fidelina feels fortunate and grateful to CentroNía for allowing her to turn her love for children into a meaningful career.
One of Ms. Fidelina’s favorite activities every day is to read and sing with the early learners during circle time. It brings her joy to see the children engaging every time she reads a story or sings a song to them.
What’s Ms. Fidelina’s biggest motivation? “The love and hugs I receive every day is invaluable and I wouldn’t change it anything” she says. She advises other teachers to love their students as much as they can.
“Children’s are the future and all they need is love and guidance!” she concludes.
