This Spaghetti Bolognese is full of the flavors of the ground: Whole onions, garlic, carrots and tomatoes go in this. Skip the Italian restaurant next time and try this at home!
Spaghetti Bolognese (Serves 4)
- Heat oil in pan over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook until slightly caramelized. Add chopped carrots.
- Add minced beef and garlic. Cook until the beef is no longer pink.
- Add chopped tomatoes and put on lid until the tomatoes are softened. Try to mash it until it becomes a thick tomato sauce.
- Add 1/2 cup chicken stock and simmer for 10-15 mins.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Top with fresh basil or herbs and serve over warm pasta. Enjoy!
