Work with CentroNía!

Growing. Learning. Leading. At CentroNía, our work is continually inspired by these three core principles. The organization exists to strengthen students and families both inside the classroom and out in the community by providing access to high-quality, bilingual learning opportunities. More than a career, a position with us is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic family that works tirelessly to provide bilingual and cultural education to a diverse and underserved population.

Work with an award-winning, nationally recognized bilingual education organization with more than 35 years of experience educating children and strengthening families.

CentroNía's Workplace Principles

GROW

Many of our employees have established their careers with us, and we encourage growth whenever possible. Whether you grow into a leadership role or find a new passion in a different department, it is our goal to ensure you achieve your professional goals and reach your fullest potential.

LEARN

We believe education is important for everyone, regardless of age! We are committed to your professional growth and wants to see you succeed. Through on-site workshops and yearly professional development retreats, we invite you to continue learning with us!

LEAD

As part of the CentroNía family, you are leading the conversation on early childhood education and support services for children and their families. Employees are encouraged to share their expertise at all levels and whenever possible, to participate in conferences or workshops to share knowledge and ideas among other industry experts.

BE HEALTHY

We support employees in living healthy, fulfilled, and balanced lives! In partnership with Washington Sports Clubs, we offer discounted gym memberships with one location only a few blocks from headquarters. Our Food and Wellness Department also provides opportunities for staff to engage in wellness activities, from the annual “Love Yourself Day” celebration, to physical activities during the work day, to providing access to healthy, nutritious meals made in-house every day.

GIVE BACK

Working for our nonprofit means that the work you’re doing every day, whether in a classroom or an office, makes a difference in the lives of low-income, working families and their children. As an employee, you will be part of this learning community and we encourage all staff to volunteer in classrooms, for events, and in support of each other to ensure we’re doing our best to serve the community.

DIVERSITY

We are committed to fostering and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion. Our human capital is the most valuable asset we have. The collective sum of the individual differences, life experiences and unique capabilities that our employees bring to their work represents a significant part of CentroNía’s reputation and achievements.
