CentroNía’s second ¡Buen Provecho! A Taste of Columbia Heights was an incredible evening of fun, delicious food, exploring, and tasting! Nearly 150 friends enjoyed a three-hour self-guided tasting tour of Columbia Heights restaurants. CentroNía brought together 13 restaurants and businesses along 14th Street, Irving Street, Park Road, and the 11th Street corridor in Columbia Heights to showcase delicious food and drinks.
Thanks to the support of sponsors, partners, and participants, CentroNía raised nearly $20,000 in critical funds in support of the children and families served by CentroNía’s high-quality, affordable early childhood education programs and support services.
“We were excited to see so many new faces joining us to celebrate Columbia Heights vibrant culture. For CentroNía, Columbia Heights will always be our first home and we couldn’t more grateful to our neighbor restaurants for participating in this event.” said Myrna Peralta.
At the event, all attendees visited participating restaurants for tastes of select food and drinks from their menu. Restaurants included: The Coupe, El Tío Tex-Mex Grill, Letena Ethiopian Restaurant, Los Hermanos, Lou’s City Bar, NíaCentral Catering, Odd Provisions, RedRocks Columbia Heights, Tynan Coffee & Tea, Bar Roubaix , El Chucho – Cocina Superior, Maple and The Wonderland Ballroom, where we celebrated the success of the evening with a dancing filled after party.
We are grateful to everyone that joined us in celebrating the Columbia Heights and CentroNía. Thank you again the sponsors, benefactors, partners, restaurants, volunteers, and patrons who made this event such a success!
