JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The CDL Driver/Maintenance Specialist is a member of the Facility Support Team and as such is responsible to assist the school administration in providing the most desirable environment for the educational program at CentroNía.  In carrying out these responsibilities, the maintenance assistant performs semi-skilled building and equipment maintenance tasks; assists building manager on major repairs, carry out cleaning duties within the frequency determined by his/her supervisor and serves as a Bus Driver for CentroNía programs.

Primary Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for the planning and implementation of the program’s educational approach in the context of the home and during group “socialization” experiences to promote and support the role of the parent as their child’s primary teacher. Also collaborates with families in assessing their family needs and strengths and in providing case management to assist families in accessing family services and support. Home visitor participates in program recruitment, enrollment and attendance efforts for all Early Head Start children in DC. Work closely with families and other program staff to ensure all health, nutrition, mental health, and disabilities service requirements are met in an effective and timely manner.
The Evaluation Associate will work with the Outcomes Manager, Program Supervisors, and Administration throughout CentroNía in order to develop, conduct and monitor a variety of outcome measures across all the programs in the organization. The individual will integrate the use of outcomes data for program analysis, problem-solving, planning and to strengthen program quality and integration of program delivery. The Evaluation Associate will conduct interviews with key stakeholders, including leadership, parents, staff and children.
To conduct, organize, facilitate and collaborate around instructional support for Infant and Toddler classrooms, having as a main goal to assist in accomplishing Early Head Start standards.
Work with CentroNía Management Team on the administration and supervision of CentroNía’s Early Childhood Education Department (ECE). The Senior Director is responsible for implementing a high quality program that is deeply rooted in the center’s vision and philosophy and is respectful of and responsive to the strengths and needs of the children and families who participate in it. CentroNía’s philosophy of Early Childhood Education is based on a developmental approach within the context of a bilingual, multicultural environment.
The purpose of this position is to teach English to English Language Learners and support the school with the coordination of the ELL Program, including through professional development, coaching of teachers, testing, scheduling of service, reporting and program implementation.
DC Bilingual is recruiting Special Education Inclusion Teachers to act a case managers and teachers for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in two adjacent grade levels. Under the leadership of the EHS Director Directly supervise the work activities of the Early Head Start program classroom teachers and assistant teachers to ensure the implementation of high quality program services and effective management systems in accordance with federal and state regulations, requirements, and guidelines. In conjunction with CentroNía education staff and parents; design, implement, and assist in evaluating an individualized curriculum for all enrolled children based on ongoing observations, screenings, assessments, and parents desires.
This is a position for a new or recent graduate from a Speech Therapy masters program interested in beginning or completing the Clinical Fellowship Year. This is a full-time position where you will be working in a Dual Language PreK3 to 5th grade students and be supervised by a licensed Speech and Language Pathologists.
